Wow, once again, It’s been a long time since I last posted… I really need to be better about maintaining this blog…
But I’m back for the time being, and the news is that I’ve been experimenting with composite images! Basically I take different pictures, and combine them to make a new composition.
This piece was inspired by the classic Renaissance portrait aesthetic- specifically the use of blissful landscapes as backgrounds, strong contrast between highlights and shadows, and clean architectural structures, although it ended up looking more modern and surreal.
